Thank you for supporting TES at our Papa’s Pizza fundraisers this year. Last week’s Papa’s day earned us $499.98, for a grand total of $1615.52 for the whole year! This all goes to teacher supplies and incentives – so ultimately, it goes back to our kids!

Parents, our lost and found has grown again. Please remind your child to check periodically for lost items – or come in and check it out yourself!
Registration for new students and those whose registrations packets were not returned last spring will take place August 21st. We plan to be open from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Be sure to bring proof of residency (current utility bill, or purchase or lease agreement showing home address) and your I.D. Students new to Oregon will also need immunization information to complete registration. See you on the 21st!
Parents of incoming kinders, we have an orientation upcoming on March 5th, at 5:30. Come to this informational time, meet our principal and other pertinent staff, and hear a bit about life at Thurston Elementary for kindergartners! We’ll have registration materials available there as well. We look forward to meeting you!!

Just a reminder that our parent night, “Curriculum Night”, is Tuesday, September 18th. At this parent information night you will find ways to support your child in the classroom and at home. We will begin at 6:30 and be done by 7:30. Please make every effort to attend!
