Summer Readers!

Welcome back!  It is difficult to believe how quickly summer flew by.  Road trips, camping, backpacking, hiking, cycling, and enjoying family and friends made the summer fly by.  From the look of the fun pictures Walterville students shared, it looks like I wasn’t the only one enjoying the summer.  Here are the pictures I received thus far.  Check out the creative and relaxing places kids found to read.

Ashlyn, a second grader, is enjoying the summer sunny weather while reading Junie B. Jones on her back patio.

Maddie loves to read anywhere.  At school she is enthusiastic to share most any book.

Yikes!  Books and water!!  Not to worry, the Hampton family knows how to enjoy good books anywhere, anytime and they always return them in excellent condition!  Whew!

Shasta shared her cozy reading nook while reading Green Eggs and Ham.

Can you believe this?!  Stephanie is reading while zip lining over her pond in her backyard!  She actually looks relaxed.  Hang on to that book Steph!

What great pictures!  Thank you for sharing your favorite and most creative places to read.  Did you forget to send in a picture?  It’s not too late.  Email your picture or bring it in to Mrs. Page this week.
